  1. Support Resources for AS90827

You may be assessed in your knowledge and understanding of the topic Finding Meaning through Achievement Standard 90827.

    Reminder

Remember that these are resources that fit the generic title of the standard.  You should read the actual standard 90827, the national moderator’s report, and the assessment task that your school has set.

    Resources

To meet AS90827 you are required to analyse points of similarity and difference between a religious tradition and a secular world view giving detailed descriptions and a range of supporting examples or evidence to justify your reasons. Therefore you need to:

    • provide a brief description of the Catholic Church (the religious tradition) and a secular world view.
    • identify points of similarity and difference between the Catholic Church and a secular world view.
    • demonstrate ways in which the beliefs of the Catholic Church and a secular world view shapes the way believers see the world and interact with it.

These resources may help you to complete the task set by your school.
